Tristan Hays Watson

Tristan Hays Watson is a British Film and Bespoke Advertisement Composer who specialises in mixing sound design with contemporary electro-acoustic and avant grade orchestral scoring. His scores have premiered at the Dorchester Abbey Festival and has been awarded scholarships and awards at institutes such as Christ Church Cathedral Oxford and GEMS ScoreLive in which Tristan was awarded Runner-up in the ScoreLive Space Challenge International Scoring Competition. Tristan has written contemporary scores accompanying commercials for Nike and is currently working on a studio album project with Apple for an upcoming advertisement campaign as well scoring an upcoming feature directed by Obi Ejikeme.

Tristan has had the privilege of having worked and studied under composers including Mark Russel, John Pickard and Tess Tyler. Tristan's extensive classical musical training and experience goes beyond composition with extensive training through Christ Church Cathedral and the University of Bristol and industry experience in orchestration, arrangements and working with MIDI programming.
